The swearing of a translation is the procedure that officially certifies that the translation is faithful to the original document. This procedure is carried out by the translator at the court or before a notary by signing a sworn statement of certification.
Sworn translations are required in particular for the submission of documents to public authorities or official bodies (for example for citizenship applications, educational qualifications, civil status certificates, driving licences, etc.), for legal documents (powers of attorney, wills, deeds of sale, financial statements, etc.), and for documentation relating to tender procedures.
The collaborators of our firm are sworn translators registered on the list of experts of the Court of Milan and of the Chamber of Commerce.
