Legalisation or an apostille (depending on the destination country of the document) is required for documents that must be authenticated for use abroad. This procedure is carried out at the Public Prosecutor’s Office or the Prefecture. For countries that have not adhered to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 (the Apostille Convention), legalisation by the consulate or embassy of the relevant country is also required.
We offer legalisation and apostille services for documents within the jurisdiction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milan and the Prefecture of Milan, as well as at all consulates and embassies in Milan and Rome.
